PHP/MYSQL COURSE

A PHP course is designed to enable web developers and others with limited programming experience to build dynamic database driven e-commerce web sites using the PHP programming language. Since PHP is such a rich and task-specific language, the course covers the most important range of functions in depth, and equips delegates to understand the remaining less essential aspects. The contents of this PHP course are identical to our three day in-house "PHP for Progammers" course, but the pacing is adjusted to suit the needs of public delegates and non-programmers. At the instructor's discretion, training material modules may be omitted if the pace is slightly slower than anticipated.

HTML COURSE

HTML is the core language for creating web pages. This course is aimed at anyone wishing to learn how to write and edit HTML code, whether your intention is to hand-code or to use a visual editor such as Dreamweaver. This course is an ideal primer for our Introduction to CSS course, which moves into building more complex page layouts with stylesheets. Requirements: None in particular, although some experience in using the web is important

CSS COURSE

This course covers CSS (Cascading Stylesheets) in detail, from basic formatting to creating complex page layouts. We discuss issues such as browser compatibility, and demonstrate how to create standards-compliant pages combined with sophisticated structure and design. Delegates will leave the course with a thorough understanding of how CSS works, and the ability to write their own stylesheets from scratch.

AJAX COURSE

Students attending this AJAX training will learn how to implement cross-browser compatible Javascript to dynamically update and refresh the page using behind-the-scenes server-side calls using AJAX. Students attending this course will learn how to implement a wide range of AJAX design patterns in a hands-on, instructor-led environment.

JOOMLA COURSE

Using Open Source software such as Joomla, Apache and other applications you can be more competitive in an already competitive market. By basing your websites on free products that have large developer and user communities you can keep your prices down, take advantage of the community maintenance, and participate in the software projects to gain valuable experience, contacts and work opportunities as well as the chance to keep up to date with updates to the software you choose to use. XHTML COURSE

XHTML is the next version of HTML. This class will teach all the same concepts as the HTML 101 course, but focused on valid and well-formed XHTML.

XML is Used across all industry sectors from Financial to Utilities, for a variety of applications requiring data interchange including online datastreams and online mortgage applications.
